Martin Leaves "Law & Order"

And another one bites the dust! In the grand tradition of rotating cast changes, "Law & Order" will lose another actor when Jesse L. Martin leaves later this season.

MovieWeb reports Martin will only film one more episode of the show, and since he's already filmed several episodes, his exit will most likely occur sometime in the middle of the season. Martin played Detective Ed Green for nine years, partnering first with the always popular Jerry Orbach and then later with Dennis Farina and Jeremy Sisto.

Replacing Martin will be Anthony Anderson, which means his New Orleans-based show "K-Ville" probably won't be returning to Fox. He's tentatively set to begin filming later this season. --Chris Sardelli
