CBS Wants More "Rules," "Shark"

engagement-locklear.jpg"Two shows are happy that the writers' strike is over. On the heels of that good news, CBS announced that it plans to renew "Rules of Engagement" and "Shark."

"Rules of Engagement" stars Oliver Hudson, Patrick Warburton and David Spade. The latter is the only singleton in the sitcom's main cast. The order will allow the comedy to shoot six additional episodes.

The network has given four more to "Shark," the James Woods legal drama.

No word on whether there would be changes to the schedule. The Hollywood Reporter says that "Rules" is currently sharing a spot with "The New Adventures of Old Christine," while "Shark's" spot has been given to the Showtime hit "Dexter." -- Rachel Cericola
