"Arrested Development" -- The Movie?

ADgobbanana.jpgWhen "Arrested Development" was cancelled, fans (including this one) were clinging to the idea that a movie would be coming at some point. It wasn't just a dream, kids.

Jason Bateman has told E! that the crew is working on pulling together the cast and shooting a movie. Jeffrey Tambor has also hinted that there's been interest -- from both the cast, creator Mitch Hurwitz, and Universal Pictures.

"I think, as always, that it's a question of whether the people with the money are willing to give our leader, Mitch Hurwitz, what he deserves for his participation," Bateman says. "And I can speak for the cast when I say our fingers are crossed."
