The writers' strike is the best thing that ever happened to Donald Trump. Not only has it taken focus off his hair, but it has also granted him renewed interest in "The Apprentice."
Just last season, NBC was considering canning "The Donald." However, now Zap2it says that the network wants another season, celebrity-style.
No new contestants have been announced, but the lure of charity cash could hopefully persuade some bigger names for the next round. To date, the first season has raised more than $1 million for various charities.
"Celebrity Apprentice" will wrap its first season with a two-hour live finale on March 27. The second season will premiere in January 2009. -- Rachel Cericola
