Discovery Hopes for a "Smash"

smash-lab.jpgLove the "MythBusters," but had just about enough of Jamie's hat? Discovery has a new crew of rogue scientists to blow up crap.

"Smash Lab" features four engineers breaking down technology and then blowing it to high hell. The show is filmed at the Crash Lab in California and includes scientist Deanne Bell, designer Nick Blair, idea man Kevin Cook, and engineer Chuck Messer.

Expect a visual feast of fireballs, explosions, crashes, collapses, collisions and impacts. Who doesn't love that? There's currently a sneak peek online, or you can head over to the official site to make suggestions on what to blow up next.

"Smash Lab" premieres tonight and airs Wednesdays at 10:00 p.m. (EST) on Discovery. -- Rachel Cericola
