ABC Cancels "Big Shots"

dmcdermott.jpgLooks like the deathpool has finally ended! First NBC announced that "Journeyman" would end it's run; ABC, on the other hand, can't even wait that long -- and have canned "Big Shots."

The Thursday night dramedy didn't really have a chance, against veteran drama "ER" and the CBS hit "Without a Trace." Reviews didn't exactly help, either.

The network won't even air the show's remaining three episodes, says the Hollywood Reporter. With the writers' strike in full effect and networks scrambling for original programming... well, their ratings must have really sucked.

For now, repeats of "Private Practice" will take over the Thursday night timeslot. -- Rachel Cericola
