Put him in the game coach! ABC's new detective mystery-thriller "Women's Murder Club" just scored former New York Giants defensive back Jason Sehorn for an upcoming guest spot.
Sehorn is married to series lead Angie Harmon, who stars as Lieutenant Lindsay Boxer. According to The Futon Critic, he will star, ironically enough, as an NFL player who may have something to do with the death of Boxer's friend.
Let's hope viewers don't call a foul on the show before his episode can air. TV Guide reports the network reshot the entire first episode, mostly because it was way too confusing. In an effort to simplify matters, producers reduced the amount of plot lines and even eliminated a main character.
The show, based on author James Patterson's popular book series, follows four women who come together to solve crimes. Along with Harmon, the show also stars Paula Newsome as a medical examiner, Laura Harris as an ADA and Aubrey Dollar as a crime reporter. "Women's Murder Club" premieres October 12 at 9 p.m. on ABC. --Chris Sardelli
