Get ready Seinfeld fans, your favorite comedian will be headlining a television show once again. Well, only for one episode. On Saturday, November 3, Jerry Seinfeld will host Fox's "Talkshow with Spike Feresten."
According to The Futon Critic, he'll temporarily take the reigns of Fox's late-night talk show, which airs after "MadTV" on Saturday nights. The pairing makes sense since regular host Spike Feresten is a former "Seinfeld" writer. Feresten will be Seinfeld's guest on the show, along with "Seinfeld" alum Patrick Warburton, who used to play David Puddy. "Talkshow" is a half-hour comedic program that blends the talk show format with skits.
After a few years of touring his stand-up routine, Seinfeld has been back in the spotlight recently as he promotes his new animated feature "Bee Movie." He's already guest-starred on NBC's "30 Rock," and has even shown up on CMT's "Top 20 Countdown," so it just makes sense he'd pop up once again. --Chris Sardelli
