I hate to get all gossipy on everyone, but it was just announced that former "Prison Break" star Lane Garrison was sentenced to 40 months in a real prison. Garrison was pleaded guilty in a drunk driving crash that killed a 17-year-old high-school student in 2006.
Garrison, 27, did apologize to the family of the victim before the ruling, says Defamer..
"I'm sick of my own behavior that night," he said. "This remorse is genuine. I feel it every day."
Two 15-year-old girls were also injured in the crash that killed 17-year-old Vahagn Setian. Garrison was also ordered to pay $300,000 to those involved with the crash.
Garrison played Tweener on Fox's "Prison Break." His character was killed off in season 2. "Prison Break" airs every Monday at 8:00 p.m. (EST) on Fox. -- Rachel Cericola
