Rejoice "Dirty Dancing" lovers, Patrick Swayze will soon be coming to a television near you. The popular 80s movie actor is set to star in A&E's new drama "The Beast."
Swayze, whose body of work includes "Dirty Dancing," "Road House" and "Point Break," will star in the new television drama revolving around a FBI agent and his new partner. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Swayze and his new co-worker (recently cast Travis Fimmel) will solve crimes while being tracked by an Internal Affairs team. A&E says Swayze will play a "tough, darker character that needs some likability."
Aside from his new show, Swayze will star in two upcoming movies, "Christmas in Wonderland" about a dad and his kids who catch crooks in a mall and "Powder Blue" about four strangers in L.A. who meet on Christmas Eve.
