MTV Clones "Name That Tune"

At this rate, pretty soon every member of NSYNC will have something to do. After the success of shows like NBC's "The Singing Bee," which is hosted by former NSYNCer Joey Fatone, MTV Networks will launch three different versions of the classic game show "Name That Tune."

The new versions will air on three separate networks and each feature music geared towards its particular viewers: the Top 20/R&B lovers on MTV, the Adult Contempo/Top 40 fans on VH1 and country music devotees on CMT. The show, which asks contestants to identify music clips in the hopes of winning big prizes, first premiered on CBS in the 1950s, with other versions airing over the last half century.

MTV Networks has already ordered six episodes of each version, according to Entertainment Weekly. The music starts playing sometime in early 2008. --Chris Sardelli
