John Francis Daley Joins "Bones"

jfdaley.jpg"Remember when John Francis Daley was egged on a very special episode of "Freaks & Geeks?" Well, it appears that our favorite geek has grown up -- and now he's got a job on Fox's hit drama, "Bones."

Daley has joined the cast as Dr. Lance Sweets, a young FBI-appointed therapist assigned to work on Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz).

"He fits in perfectly with the cattywonkers tone of our show," says Hart Hanson, the show's creator and executive producer. All right, sir.

Aside from "Freak & Geeks," Daley also spent TV time on "The Geena Davis Show," "Boston Public" and "Kitchen Confidential." He also relives his geek days in the upcoming film "5-25-77."

"Bones" airs every Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. (EST) on Fox. -- Rachel Cericola
