It's no "Frasier," but Fox still thinks Kelsey Grammer's new show "Back to You" is good enough for a full season order.
The network just ordered 11 more episodes of the comedy, for a total of 24, thus assuring it a complete season. "Back to You" averages only 7.4 million viewers, according to Variety, which makes it a surprising pick-up. Fox execs probably didn't want to lose their two marquee stars, Grammer and Patricia Heaton. And since it airs Wednesdays, it will eventually be paired with "American Idol," which should help increase viewers.
The show centers on bickering news anchors Chuck Darling (Grammer) and Kelly Carr (Heaton), as well as their wacky coworkers who include Fred Willard and Laura Marano.
