Conan O'Brien Creates the "Man of Your Dreams"

It seems "Late Night" isn't enough for Conan O'Brien. The irreverent host of the NBC talk show is taking a stab at primetime comedy as well.

O'Brien created and will executive-produce "Man of Your Dreams," a half-hour comedy about a womanizer who gives women dating advice. Variety reports the "Hitch"-style concept will be developed through O'Brien's production company, Conaco, which has several other shows in development as well.

This isn't Conan's first try at a comedy, though. His production company also created and produced "Andy Barker, P.I.," which starred his former sidekick Andy Richter, but ultimately didn't catch on with audiences.

If the new show doesn't work out, Conan should still be able to land on his feet. Come 2009, he'll take the reigns of "The Tonight Show" from Jay Leno. --Chris Sardelli
