CBS Launches Horror Web Series

SurviveHorror.jpgThink you could survive a horror movie? Whether you are planning a night of baby-sitting, a haunted house purchase, or to organize your killer doll collection, everyone could use a few extra tips, right?

CBS is providing that service, via a series of Web-only mocking training films based on Seth Grahame-Smith's book, "How to Survive a Horror Movie: All the Skills to Dodge the Kills."

Episodes include "Seven Things to Never, Ever, Ever Put in a Child's Room," "How to Tell if You Have Been Dead Since the Beginning of the Movie," "How to Defeat a Killer Doll," "How to Tell if Your House is Haunted" and "How to Survive a Night of Babysitting."

The site also includes video commentary, a director's blog and behind-the-scenes photos.

Six 2-minute episodes will air each week, from now through October 25. Check for new episodes every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. -- Rachel Cericola
