Can Jimmy Fallon Do Conan?

jfallon.JPGCome 2009, Jay Leno plans to pass the ceremonial "Tonight Show" torch (or desk) to the uber-funny-and-on-too-late Conan O'Brien. NBC was batting around ideas for a Conan successor, and now the rumors are heating up. Apparently, it's going to be Jimmy Fallon.

NBC isn't confirming anything yet, aside from saying the former SNL'er is at the top of a short list, says Entertainment Weekly.

Until he gets his sweaty mitts on that hosting microphone, Fallon is staying busy. He has a new film, "Rockett," coming out next month.

Will any of you be watching? Do you have a better idea of who should host? And does anyone think Jay Leno might hang on for a few more years? Drop a comment. -- Rachel Cericola
