Season two of Aaron McGruder's "The Boondocks" is set to premiere on October 8 -- and this time they won't be alone.
Celebs are lining up to voice characters based on McGruder's comic strip. Expect a "Simpsons"-style celebrity roster, including Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, Ghostface Killah, Cee-lo, Lil Wayne, Donald Faison ("Scrubs"), Aisha Tyler, Marion Ross ("Happy Days"), and more. Mos Def, Xzibit, Charlie Murphy, MTV's Sway and Katt Williams are also lined up to reprise roles from last season.
Regular cast members include Regina King ("24") and John Witherspoon ("Friday").
Expect Granddad's online dating experiment, a feud with fictional rapper Thugnificent, a family trip to see "Soul Plane 2," and much more. The second season will have 15 episodes, taking the show through 2008.
