NBC's "IT" Could Already Be OUT

ITCrowd.jpgThe only comedy that I was looking forward to this fall could already be on the chopping block. The Hollywood Reporter says that NBC's midseason replacement, "The IT Crowd," might get canned before it even goes into production.

The show was about the wacky inner-workings of an IT department. Sure it's one of the many in this fall's very popular "geek" genre, but it starred Joel McHale from E!'s "The Soup," which gave it some promise.

Guess this BBC-inspired show didn't give NBC the same vibe as "The Office." Do you think "The Office" gave them that vibe when they first saw it?

There's no definite word on whether or not "The IT Crowd" will air. For now, all we know is that it still has a spot on NBC's Web site. -- Rachel Cericola

Just watch the English version, I dont have to watch the US version to know the original will always be much funnier.

I do like The Office -- both versions. Was hoping for the same result.
