More "Power" to CBS

dcarey.jpgCBS must be psyched! Before "The Power of 10" even premiered, they had hailed Drew Carey as the second coming of Bob Barker. They can stop sweating; the gamble has paid off.

The network has just announced an order for another six episodes of the primetime game show, says MovieWeb. The show has been doing pretty well in the ratings, even winning various timeslots for a few weeks.

With his "Price is Right" gig starting on October 15, Carey might never be able to turn that smile upside-down. It's either all of the game-show excitement, or he's just thinking about his money.

Expect a summer finale on Sunday, September 23. Until then, "The Power of 10" currently airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. (EST) on CBS. -- Rachel Cericola
