Milwaukee Wants to Bronze the Fonz

fonz.jpgA group called Visit Milwaukee wants a bronze statue of Henry Winkler circa his "Happy Days" to help promote tourism. Aaaayy!

The TV Squad says that more than half of the group's $85,000 goal has been met. The group expects the statue to be unveiled next year.

"This is a statue of a TV icon who remains the epitome of cool," says Dave Fantle, vice president of public relations for the nonprofit group.

Winkler himself even thinks it's bizarre, although he said he'd attend the unveiling. Wonder what Chachi thinks. Wah-wah-wah… -- Rachel Cericola
