Lauren Graham Joins the NBC Family

lgraham.jpgOnly months after her popular CW series "Gilmore Girls" went off the air, Lauren Graham has signed a large development deal with NBC.

Variety reports the actress, who played Lorelai Gilmore on the popular show for seven years, recently signed a seven figure deal with the peacock network. The deal reportedly entails creating a show specifically around Graham. Several studios were interested in signing her, but NBC offered the most money. No word yet on a schedule for the project.

There's no denying Graham is extremely in demand lately. Under her own production company, Good Game Prods., she is also creating a new dating show called "Boxers or Briefs." It will eventually premiere on the WB's Studio 2.0, an online venture featuring television content for wireless devices. --Chris Sardelli
