NBC & iTunes Sever Ties

heroes.JPGIf you like to spend your morning commute catching up on episodes of "The Office" on your iPod, here's some very sad news. It looks like both NBC and iTunes couldn't decide who was the greedier of the two, so they are severing ties.

Apparently, NBC wanted to be able to decide which items get premium pricing, which get thrown into the bargain bin, and then also bundle episodes as special purchases. They also wanted better anti-piracy measures, says E! Online. Apple didn't go for any of NBC's ideas and now it's "Heroes" for no one!

Stock up while you still can. Unless negotiations resume, NBC's digital downloads will disappear from iTunes in December. -- Rachel Cericola
