Miss America Gets Some TLC

lnelson.jpgRemember when every little girl wanted to be Miss America? Most probably don't even know what the title means anymore -- they can't find it!

The pageant had recent problems finding a home. ABC dropped it after eons. Then it moved to CMT. Apparently more people aspired to be on "Country Fried Home Videos." However, TLC just announced that they are taking in the pageant for the next three years.

Expect the network to get the most out of its investment, adding a reality-style show that follows each of the 52 contestants as they prepare for their big moment, says Reuters.

Will behind-the-scenes drama (and hopefully cat-fights) revive the aging organization?
