Danny Glover Joins "Brothers & Sisters"

dglover.jpgDanny Glover is heading back to TV, to spark up a little something with another frequent "ER" guest star -- Sally Field. TVGuide.com's Michael Ausiello is reporting that Glover will guest star as Field's new love interest on the upcoming season of "Brothers & Sisters."

Don't get your hopes up; it probably won't last, seeing as Glover is only set to appear in eight to 10 episodes. He will play Senator McCallister's presidential-campaign manager.

Glover and Field have shared screen time before -- in 1984's "Places in the Heart," which nabbed Field her second Oscar (the first was for 1979's "Norma Rae").

"Brothers & Sisters" airs every Sunday at 10:00 p.m. (EST) on ABC. -- Rachel Cericola
