"Jericho" Returns July 6

jericho2.jpgMissed "Jericho" last season? That's probably why CBS cancelled it. Now they're giving you a chance to see what all of the hubbub is about, by airing episodes from the first season this summer.

"Jericho" stars Skeet Ulrich ("Scream") as a resident of a town in Kansas that survived a series of nuclear attacks throughout the U.S. In May, CBS cancelled the show, only to be bombarded by letters, emails and 50,000 pounds of peanuts.

The campaign worked. CBS reinstated the show and ordered seven new episodes, which will air sometime in the middle of the 2007-2008 TV season.

In case you need to catch up, the pilot episode of "Jericho" will air Friday, July 6 at 9:00 p.m. (EST) on CBS. On July 13, the network will air back-to-back episodes, including a recap of the first 11 episodes and "The Day Before," which launched the show's spring return. Episodes 13-22 will fill the Friday timeslot for the rest of the summer. -- Rachel Cericola
