Ty Pennington Arrested

Add Ty Pennington to the extremely lengthy list of celebrities that have the words "drunk driving" on their resumes.

The "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" host was apologizing up a storm on Monday after being arrested, says E! Online. You can't blame the guy -- with a huge ABC show and a Sears endorsement at stake.

"Under no circumstances should anyone consume alcohol while driving," he said in a statement. "I could have jeopardized the lives of others and I am grateful there was no accident or harm done to anyone."

Pennington was released on $5,000 bail, but is due back in court next month.

"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" airs every Sunday at 8:00 p.m. (EST) on ABC. -- Rachel Cericola
