Carrie Fisher, Matthew Modine Join "Weeds"

cfisher.jpgThe cast of "Weeds" is growing like... well, you know. Matthew Modine and Carrie Fisher are reportedly joining the cast of Showtime's stoney comedy starting this summer. Princess Leia? Trippy!

Modine has only signed on for 10 episodes so far, says ETonline. He will play a real estate developer who romances both Celia (Elizabeth Perkins) and Nancy (Mary-Louise Parker). Fisher will play Celia's divorce lawyer.

The third season of "Weeds" will kick off on Monday, August 13 on Showtime. -- Rachel Cericola
