Baseball-Based Reality Show Premieres Tonight

TheShow.jpgWith so many reality shows popping up everywhere, it's nice to see one that actually doesn't involve eating animal testicles or people dressed as giant Tweety birds. However, if you want to go to "The Show," you'd better be a serious baseball prospect -- and have high-def on Comcast.

"The Show" is a new reality series that follows six young prospects for the Arizona Diamondbacks. The subjects range in age from 22 to 25, with three pitchers, one right and one center fielder, and one third baseman.

Former Diamondback left fielder Luis Gonzalez (who is now on the Dodgers) will give his perspective. Diamondback GM Josh Byrnes, manager Bob Melvin, scouts and coaches will all appear.

The series comprises six 30-minute episodes, all narrated by Joe Mantegna.

"The Show" premieres tonight, May 30 at 10:00 p.m. (EST) on MOJO. Formerly known as INHD, MOJO is only available to Comcast customers that receive high-definition programming. However, you can view a full episode on MOJO's Web site. -- Rachel Cericola
