"Las Vegas" Bets on Selleck

tselleck.jpgWill Magnum come back to TV? He isn't bringing his cool car, T.C. or Rick, but Tom Selleck could have another regular TV gig, on NBC's "Las Vegas."

Selleck would take over for the departing James Caan, as the "fun-loving" new owner of the Montecito Resort & Casino, says the Hollywood Reporter. I just hope that the Magnum moustache is part of his contract.

The drama was recently renewed for a fifth season. Caan announced he plans to return to movies. Another series regular, Nikki Cox, was also a victim of the show's budget cuts.

Selleck can currently be heard on the big screen in "Meet the Robinsons." NBC airs "Las Vegas" every Friday at 9:00 p.m. (EST) -- Rachel Cericola
