Michael Rapaport has signed on to play the male lead in a new CBS comedy called "Fugly."
The show is barely in the pilot stage, but has Rapaport lost his regular gig on Fox's "The War at Home?"
According to the Fox site, new episodes are coming March 25. However, I can't imagine that either network would be thrilled about the actor spreading himself so thin. Who does he think he is, Regis?
In "Fugly," Rapaport will play the brother to sisters Nikki Cox (who recently got her ticket out of "Las Vegas") and Marissa Jaret Winokur ("Stacked," Broadway's "Hairspray").
Now here comes the funny: The sisters are identical twins. However, Rapaport has recently purchased an extreme makeover for one sister, says Reuters. Guess which one?
No word on when the pilot starts production or when it might hit the air. "The War at Home" returns at the end of this month and will air every Sunday at 7:30 p.m. (EST) on Fox. -- Rachel Cericola
THANK GOD, the war at home is coming back, now i wish the same was happening for "THE WINNER", but the winner would be better if it came to HBO instead.
