"The L Word" Wants Writers

FanLib.jpgIf you've ever sat in disgust thinking that you could write better TV, it's time to put your pen where your mouth is -- or even better, where your hand is.

Showtime is teaming up with FanLib for "The L Word: Fans on Film." Basically, if you are willing to spill the beans about a personal experience, you could be adding the words "TV writer" to your resume.

Just make sure you have some thick skin: Fans online will be invited to read, rate and dish about every entry. The Web community will choose the winning writers.

The chosen stories will be produced by Showtime for the upcoming DVD release, as well as the show's Web site. Other prizes will also be awarded. Check out the site for more details.

"The L Word" airs every Sunday at 10:00 p.m. (EST) on Showtime. -- Rachel Cericola
