NBC Ups "Las Vegas"

jcaan.jpgApparently NBC doesn't consider "Las Vegas" to be a much of a gamble. The network just announced that they are picking up the drama for a fifth season.

Friday nights usually serve as a wasteland for a lot TV shows, but "Las Vegas" seems to do very well in its 9:00 p.m. timeslot, says TV Week.

The show stars James Caan as the head of a casino security team. Josh Duhamel is his protégé. Vanessa Marcil, Nikki Cox and Molly Sims also star.

"Las Vegas" airs every Friday at 9:00 p.m. (EST) on NBC. -- Rachel Cericola
