"Kitchen Confidential" Coming to DVD

kitchenconfidential.jpgIf you blinked during the 2005 TV season, you probably missed "Kitchen Confidential." Now you can add it to your Netflix queue.

A two-disc DVD set is expected to hit stores on May 22, says TVShowsOnDVD.com. The set will have 13 episodes -- 9 of which never aired.

The show's failure is sort of bizarre. It had a good cast, including Bradley Cooper ("Alias," "Wedding Crashers"), John Francis Daley ("Freaks and Geeks"), Nicholas Brendon ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer"), Jamie King ("Sin City"), John Cho ("Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle"), and Frank Langella ("Superman Returns"). Unfortunately, the show was paired with "Arrested Development," which I still love, but could have been a curse, considering it's gone now too.

Blame the scripts or Fox's itchy trigger finger. Buy of rent it and decide for yourself. Really though, could it possibly be any worse than "'Til Death?" -- Rachel Cericola
