Welcome back to the jungle, Brooke Shields. The actress will return to TV in NBC's one-hour pilot, "Lipstick Jungle."
The show is based on a book by Candace Bushnell ("Sex and the City"). Shields will play one of the three main characters, who is a movie studio president and mother of three.
This would be Shields' first regular TV gig since her four years on NBC's "Suddenly Susan," says the New York Daily News. She was recently seen on the small screen guest-starring on multiple episodes of "That 70s Show" and "Nip/Tuck."

According to yesterday's Hollywood Reporter, it's not canceled. However, some of the major behind-the-scenes players were let go and it's now a mid-season replacement.
That's never good.
