CBS Orders More "Survivor"

probst-cook.jpgThis year's semi-segregated "Survivor" must have generated some new interest, or maybe they just couldn't find any other celebs willing to sign up for "Armed and Famous." Either way, CBS has ordered two more seasons of the long-running reality competition.

Despite a bit of a ratings drop-off this season, "Survivor" still averaged 15 million viewers this season, says Reality TV Magazine. Not bad for the longest-running reality show on TV.

Don't expect to get a glimpse of December's coup in the Fiji edition. However, all survivors will survive -- although each person's dignity might not. "Survivor: Fiji" will premiere February 8 on CBS.

There's no word on where the show will end up the following season. -- Rachel Cericola
