Rob Lowe Joins "Brothers & Sisters"

rlowe.jpgRob Lowe looks like the perfect politician, doesn't he? Someone must think so. ComingSoon.net says he will be back in a fairly familiar role when he joins the cast of "Brothers & Sisters," playing a senator who romances Calista Flockhart's Kitty.

Lowe has signed on for at least six episodes, but there is a possibility that he will stay on permanently. I hope he just doesn't go all "West Wing" on us.

"Brothers & Sisters" airs every Sunday at 10:00 p.m. (EST) on ABC. -- Rachel Cericola

What does 'go all "West Wing" on us' mean? I loved Rob in the "West Wing" and while I look forward to a new character, I adored Rob as Sam Seaborn.

Like Jesse, I am bemused by your phrase "go all West Wing on us" - in what sense could that possibly be a bad thing? Rob was wonderful as Sam.

Sorry to confuse you...

I just meant that he left the "West Wing." I am just hoping that he doesn't get you sucked into this character and leave the show!
