NPR is reporting that "60 Minutes" correspondent Ed Bradley has died at the age of 65.
The award-winning journalist succumbed to leukemia on Thursday at Mount Sinai hospital. Although a few of his colleagues had mentioned that he seemed to be weakening during the past few weeks, I don't think his condition was public knowledge.
Bradley was known for his signature earring and beard -- as well as his 26 years on the Sunday news show.
Bradley underwent heart bypass surgery about a year ago. He is survived by his wife, artist Patricia Blanchet. -- Rachel Cericola
