"Survivor" No Longer Segregated

probst.jpgYou have to hand it to the producers of "Survivor" -- after 13 seasons, they certainly know how to drum up press.

First, they announce that this season will have teams made up by race. Then after that makes a big stink (and sort of stinks up the ratings), they decide to take it all back. The Chicago Tribune says that their race card is apparently played out.

After two episodes, the teams were back to being random -- and so was the decision to desegregate them. No explanation was given for the change.

"Survivor" airs every Thursday at 8:00 p.m. (EST) on CBS. -- Rachel Cericola

I hate this show and never watch it. Hated it even more so that they reverted back to prehistoric times by segregating the teams. But it's good to know they have come to their senses (or actually read fan comments about the segregation).

Connie,

Get a clue. The show was filmed months ago. (Like in May)! The producers did not change the tribes because of ratings.
