NBC Gets "Stupid" With the Farrelly Brothers

farrellys.jpgIt seems so obvious that a show called "I'm With Stupid" is being developed by the Farrelly Brothers.

The series focuses on two guys who become roommates. Sound typical? Well one guy is in a wheelchair and they live in a group home for the disabled.

MovieWeb says that the brothers are lifting the show from the BBC and bringing it to NBC. They have a little more than luck on their side: They have the producer of the U.S. version of "The Office."

Before you get offended, the Farrellys are known for positively portraying the disabled in many of their films. "Friends" writer Wil Calhoun will write the pilot. -- Rachel Cericola
