If you were a fan of the all-female "Weekend Update" anchor lineup -- sorry. The Indianapolis Star is reporting that Seth Meyers will take over Tina Fey's slot as "Weekend Update" anchor on "Saturday Night Live" this season.
Meyers is having a very good year -- his fifth for "SNL." Not only will he join Fey's former co-anchor, Amy Pohler, but he has also been named as one of the head writers.
"Saturday Night Live" kicks off September 30 with host Dane Cook and musical guests The Killers. -- Rachel Cericola
