"Justice" and "Happy Hour" On Break

happy-hour.jpgIt looks like it's the unhappy hour for "Happy Hour." And "Justice?" They aren't getting any.

The TV Squad is reporting that both shows are already going on hiatus. Fox is notorious for having an itchy trigger finger when it comes to pulling the plug, but wow wee.

Personally, I am bummed. I didn't even list either show in my fall TV deathwatch. Know why? I had no idea they existed. Apparently, I was not alone. -- Rachel Cericola

Justice never had a chance...The world's already got Boston Legal and now Shark when it comes to the need of "quirky but brilliant" lawyers.

And as for Happy Hour...I'm hoping the world is also completely sick of half hour "laugh NOW" comedies.

And speaking of laugh tracks...does anyone know if Help Me Help You will have a laugh track??? It's a Ted Danson sitcom, so I'd imagine so but the previews I've heard don't make the show seem like it would.

Also, right now I'm watchign the season premier of Brothers and Sisters, and is anyone else confused as hell??? Maybe I'm just lethargic after having had 4 hours of sleep each night for the past couple of weeks, but I'm having trouble keeping up...or maybe I'm having trouble keeping interest. So far I like the characters, I like what's going on with the show, the story...but there's something that keeps me away from really indulging myself in the show.

As I type this, one of the characters says to Calista Flockhart's character "Start a family with me," all while this cheesy flute music plays.

Ah, I've got it. It's something that should be moved to the MyNetworkTV lineup (that channel with those cheesy, horrible melodramas...Fashion House, and whatever else they've got).

Maybe it'll get better next week?

I couldn't get into Justice, but isn't it just going on hiatus for the baseball postseason?

That's what the Fox site says, but I think that's not actually the case. We shall see!

Justice is an interesting show, but the big problem was that it was on at the same time as CSI. Maybe now that it has changed nights it will do better.
