Don't touch that dial -- or your remote. It's not going to do anything anyway. News.com is reporting that the FX network is planning to air a new commercial that will leave an impression on viewers -- even those trying to fast-forward through it.
The ad is for the new Showtime drama, "Brotherhood," and will use a single image for 30 seconds. That means if you fast-forward, you'll still catch it. It doesn't matter how fast your digital video recorder works.
My question is: Do they think they are brainwashing viewers to watch? It sort of turns me off.
