David E. Kelly Developing Legal Comedy

If you look at the last few years of TV, one would think that lawyers never have any fun. Now MediaWeek says that David E. Kelly is about to expose the kooky in the courtroom.

Fox has signed a deal with Kelley to develop a legal-themed comedy. Actually, it still won't dispel the TV myth about lawyers -- this show will focus on a group of jurors sequestered in a motel.

It's not the first time that Kelley has been paired with Fox or sitcoms. He recently supervised the network's "Five Finger Discount." -- Rachel Cericola
