"Stargate" Gets Cancelled

The longest running sci-fi show no longer has a network. Apparently, the Sci-Fi Channel is pulling the plug on "Stargate SG-1."

The final three episodes will air next year. Talk about dragging it out! With MacGyver gone and the ratings starting to dwindle, the network figured it was time. Fred at Sci-Fi Fodder has more than enough to say about the topic.

"Stargate SG-1" is based on the 1994 movie starring Kurt Russell and James Spader. Sci-Fi has opted to pick up its spin-off, "Stargate Atlantis" for a fourth season. -- Rachel Cericola

what the hell is happening?? they can't cancel Stargate SG1!! It's one of the best TV shows ever! :(

This is so inaccurate. SG-1 is still running in it's tenth season. They just aired the 200th episode! Get your facts straight.

Uh yeah... the 10th season is the LAST -- at least on the Sci-Fi Channel. My facts come from THE SCI-FI CHANNEL...

what stargate needs is another like jack oneal to reach the common reg people his wit and atitude was allways interesting not that the others werent great buy we could hardly understand them i have such a caracter he is from the south and he is a marine col. jacks best friend of 40 years an expert in warfar yet a gentle sole be just like jack if any one of the producers would be interseted in saving the show @ getting our network back let me know i have over 4 years of material thanks jp
