Jason Alexander Loves "Chris"

jalexander.jpg When Chris Rock thinks of his junior high days, he sees visions of George Costanza. All Headline News is reporting that Jason Alexander will guest star in two episodes of "Everybody Hates Chris" this fall.

The former "Seinfeld" sidekick will portray Principal Edwards, head of Corleone Junior High. He has also signed on to direct a third episode sometime this season. Episode dates for all are still to be determined.

Alexander was last seen starring opposite Malcolm-Jamal Warner in the now-cancelled CBS sitcom, "Listen Up." The show, and his character, was based on the life of ESPN's Tony Kornheiser.

"Everybody Hates Chris" will kick off its second season on October 1. It airs every Sunday this fall on the new CW network. -- Rachel Cericola
