Dating Shows Get Dumped

rlodge.jpgAll good things must come to an end -- and a few others things as well. TV Week is reporting that "Blind Date" and "ElimiDate" are no longer in production.

"Blind Date" would set up two people for a night on the town, while using the "Pop-Up Video" method to annoy viewers with "jokes" about each of the unsuspecting participants. "ElimiDate" would set up four suitors with one bachelor or bachelorette, ultimately seeing which one could come off as the biggest jackass.

"Blind Date" has actually been renewed for one more season, but it will be all reruns. Check your local listings for showtimes. -- Rachel Cericola
