Ben Stiller has been in show business for almost his entire life, has famous parents and is a pinnacle in the infamous "Frat Pack." So why exactly is his wife going to be fodder for a TV show? That's what the Washington Post says.
Stiller will serve as the executive producer and director for the new show, but wife Christine Taylor will be the star. The sitcom will be loosely based on her life as an actress married to a movie star.
Taylor is certainly TV worthy. I am just hoping that they throw in a storyline about her resemblance to (if not her portrayal of) Marcia Brady. If the show gets picked up, Stiller may also guest star on occasion. However, don't expect their two kids to be part of the plot.
CBS has committed to the half-hour pilot. No word on additional casting or when the show might make it to the air. -- Rachel Cericola
