Star Jones Leaving "The View"

In a not-so-shocking move, Access Hollywood says that Star Jones is leaving "The View."

For all of you that were still watching (what's wrong with you??) or hoping to tune in to see Rosie O'Donnell spar with her new co-host this fall, it ain't going to happen.

The formal announcement was made on today's show. It didn't get as much fanfare as Meredith Vieira's departure, although Star's last show isn't going to be until mid-July, leaving plenty of time for a parade of tears, songs and special guest stars. However, I wouldn't expect too many hugs and kisses considering Star went to People magazine, reporting that she was, in fact, fired.

"The View" airs every weekday on ABC. Check your local listings for channels and showtimes. -- Rachel Cericola
