David James Elliot is coming back to CBS. However, it's hard to be sad about seeing that beautiful mug on TV every week.
ComingSoon.net says that the actor is joining the cast of "Close to Home." Elliot will play D.A. Conlon, a Manhattan native who moves to Indianapolis to join forces with prosecutors Annabeth Chase (Jennifer Finnigan) and Maureen Scofield (Kimberly Elise).
John Carroll Lynch and Christian Kane are out.
The second season of "Close to Home" is scheduled to premiere Friday, September 22 at 9:00 p.m. (EST) on CBS. -- Rachel Cericola
