For once, I am sad to say, "I told you so." However, it seems as though the ABC sitcom, "Sons & Daughters," is gone for good. At least that's what it says on Fred Goss' online blog -- hence, the title "It's Over."
Goss is the star and co-creator of the show, so I would think he'd know best. The show was funny, quirky and often compared to Fox's "Arrested Development." I could sort of see it, but not really. Anyway, it looks like the only thing they have in common now is that both no longer have a home.
It also affirms my belief that ABC would have been a very bad place for "Arrested Development" (when that was actually a rumor/option). Look how long they stuck it out with this show.
As far as I can tell, there are no remaining episodes that ABC plans to burn off. -- Rachel Cericola
sad day. although I preferred Arrested Dev, any comedy that tried to break the mould was appreciated in this world of reality-tv and low-quality sitcoms
